After spending the night at Karel's mom's condominium, and a great breakfast prepared by Karel and Adriana, Adriana drove us to the subway for a one-stop trip to catch the airport bus. I was sorry to say good-bye, as she had been
a wonderful host and friend.





Karel went with me to make sure I caught the bus....which was great, because we made it with 5 minutes to spare. The trip was a good chance to have a last look at the city, taking about 25 minutes before reaching Terminal 1 at Prague-Ruzyně.


My flight was at 11:25 on Czech Airlines, and I still had a couple of hours to spare after checking my killer luggage and making it through security, so I took an espresso and cigarette (?) at a cafe beside my gate (A8) to wait for the boarding call.

The flight was on time and, (probably because it was Friday the 13th), was only 1/5 full, making for a very enjoyable trip. Needless to say, the food and service were excellent! The flight took eight and a half hours, and we arrived on time at Pearson in Toronto.

I am really going to miss the Czech Republic - especially spending time with Krystof, Adriana, and Karel...
